This was basically the idea i had when i heard about the project. It sort of came out the way i wanted it to... but not. I had planned to have Marvel vs Dc but it kind of ended up being marvel and Dc thrown in together with intimating fighting poses.
Either way i think its pretty cool. Marvel wins though.... They're better. Much better.... SO MUCH BETTER. batman sucks.
Also, this project took a decent amount of time. Ive used photoshop for about 8 years now... so it wasnt that difficult... just time consuming.
The idea is phenomenal, the concept makes it that much better. These characters are known for fighting, great job on engulfing that into the montage
ReplyDeleteAnything with so much comic book-ness is inherently awesome. For the animations, are you going to have a fighting scene?
ReplyDeleteI envy your experience with photoshop...dont understand why I havent taken it on sooner!!!
ReplyDeleteI learned from your pieces that manipulating the colors of the each image can really enhance what you are trying to portray. I can tell which characters are on your team and the ones you despise.
Looking forward to learning from your talent.
:)
This really is a great concept. Panel 3 feels like a real comic book and it's coo how you used the word 'fight' for your idea.
ReplyDeleteI also liked the third one the most, I like the box comic book feel to it but with some of the characters coming out of the boxes makes them seem like the comic book is becoming real life.
ReplyDeleteAfter hearing your explanation in class, I like the second one best. Since we know that Spiderman's your favorite, it makes sense that he's the focus of this montage. I definitely get the comic book, kind of advertisement feel...maybe elaborate more on your DC vs. Marvel fights because they're hard to spot in some places.
ReplyDeleteSAMMMMM :D Superheroes for the win! Love it....oh and...BATMAN <3 hahaha. I know you wanted to emphasize the stand off between marvel and DC, maybe next time you could do superheroes vs. super-villains from both comics.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you let your personality dictate your triptych. I think that it is appropriate that you choose to put one brand of characters against the other. I think that each composition works really well and they were done very nicely.
