Record idea

I chose to use the gears from a bike. The front and back ones along with the chain.
Attached with the those three pieces would be a lever attached to the back gear which allows the audience to participate.
The record would be attached to a tick which is attached to a gear (the one without the lever).
Also an orange traffic cone would be on a stick right above the attached record. to amplify the sound... along with a pin needle.

Artist Statement:

This was the result of the idea (without the paper cone i added to it). It came out better than i had planned and it looked really nice on the wall. The shadow is pretty too! It was extremely difficult to attach the smaller pieces with the glue i was using. I got a piece of crap bike from craigslist and we sawed off all of the pieces except the remaining middle part and the one bike peddle. Also glued on the back part where it attaches to the wall. Overall, it was a difficult process but ended up looking better than expected.
