BE YOUR OWN HERO
What i decided to do was make this site called Be Your Own Hero. How this is crowdsourcing is that people can participate by sending in photos of themselves and their created costumes. Their own personal creations. I believe this is concidered art because of the creative aspect of it. People who participate have to draw out and basically sew together a costume; their own creation! It would be really cool if this was real i think.
So what i have is a featured section for random people picked out once a week.
Another section explaining how to participate
and the last section which is just an interaction with people on the site and links dedicated to the site itself such as facebook and twitter.
WOW i have a lot of grammatical errors that i forgot to fix. so ignore those!
I had the idea when i was thinking of Postsecret. I thought of anonymous and secret identity then POOF this idea came to mind. The man who created post secret, Frank Warren, is kind of my inspiration. So that is who i should thank for this idea hah.

Great concept and great design! Your idea pushes the avatar concept further by letting people actually be the superhero. I also appreciate the little details you put into your design. I agree with Bret, now real flaws. Great Job!

ReplyDeleteThe page looks great and it is really creative. Maybe you could ask people to make a statement about what their super power is? I bet you'd get a lot of interesting descriptions! But overall a fun idea!
